Sarah, Veterinary Technician

Sarah joined the staff at Animal Clinic of Troy in 2018. She earned certification as a Veterinary Assistant from Animal Behavior College in 2012; she also achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Animal Conservation from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. Sarah has worked in veterinary clinics since the age of 16, and she has experience working in a museum and at a zoo. This experience has allowed her to work with exotics, reptiles, and zoo animals. Sarah is married and has five amazing children, four boys and one girl. Their pet family includes a Husky named Evie and a Labrador named Levi. She is a fan of black cats and has one named Baloo. A fun fact about Sarah is that she is fluent in sign language.

Jesse, Veterinary Assistant

Jesse recently became a member of the team at Animal Clinic of Troy in 2023. He graduated from Northmont High School and attended Miami Valley Career Technology Center for Pre-Vet Technology in 2010. After working 15 years in the food service industry, he is happy to return to caring for animals again. Jesse and his partner have four cats and a Chihuahua named Alf. Fun facts about Jesse are that he is a huge Star Wars fan, he likes to watch horror movies, listen to records, and drink too much coffee.

Tay, Receptionist

Tay is a 2023 addition to the team at Animal Clinic of Troy. She is a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 2013. She also attended Brightwood College of Digital Photography in 2016. Tay began her journey in the animal industry in 2016 when she became a grooming apprentice; she then became a certified groomer in 2017. In 2019, she continued her journey in veterinary medicine by becoming a veterinary assistant. Tay has one son; she also has a Border collie/Malamute mix named Teeko, a cat, Severus, and two leopard geckos. Her hobbies include photography and trying new restaurants. Tay is an avid horror movie fan. She enjoys collecting preserved insects, wet specimens, and all things spooky. Halloween is her favorite holiday.
