Animal Clinic of Troy provides your pet with a safe, secure home away from home. Whenever you go out of town, have renovations going on, or require a hospital stay, you can rest assured that we are here to take care of your pet’s every need.
Our indoor boarding area is housed in a clean, climate controlled facility. We maintain separate quarters for dogs and cats to ensure that all visitors will have a calm and pleasant stay. For our canine guests, we have options including spacious indoor kennels, small, and large runs. A large run is a 4’ x 10’ area that can accommodate families having up to 3 dogs. We walk boarding dogs 3 times a day. Every feline lodger has a roomy cage for stretching out and napping. We have larger cages that will accommodate families of multiple cats. Each pet receives personal enrichment from our caring staff members, and owners may bring their pet’s bed and blanket to make it feel more like home, but it is not required.
We provide Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin for all kennel guests. You are welcome to bring in a daily supply of your pet's food from home to avoid any upset tummies. Our kennel manager monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarian will be alerted if any problems are noted. Patients who are boarding and require medications will receive their meds according to instructions we receive.
Boarding pets will be welcomed during regular business hours; however, we ask that you pick your pets up an hour before our closing time. On Sundays, we offer pet pick up only from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.. In order to protect the health of all boarded pets and patients at our facility, we require all lodgers to be up to date on their vaccinations, and they need to be parasite free.
Animal Clinic of Troy offers boarding services to pet owners in Troy and other nearby communities in Miami County. Because space in our boarding kennel can fill up quickly, we ask that you make reservations in advance, especially around the holidays and peak vacation times.
